Description
Unlike the Janome sewing machines in CATalyst Studios, the Singer Heavy Duty sewing machines do not have an LCD control panel to adjust settings. It relies on a series of dials to make adjustments to things such as tension and thread width. Singer Heavy Duty sewing machines are good for projects such as home decor, garment sewing, scrap-booking, or quilting.
If you attend the in-person sewing workshop, you’ll likely be working on either a Janome or Singer to create a tote bag. If you’d like more direction on how to sew a tote bag before the in-person workshop, visit the Janome DC 2013(opens in a new tab) tutorial as this tutorial will focus on how to set up the machine as well as its controls and what they do.
