Description
Libraries are organized around the Library of Congress Subject Headings which, although improving, use holdovers of out-of-date or, in some cases, offensive/discriminatory terms. This tutorial will help you understand how these subject headings affect a researcher’s process and outcomes. Note: Anyone is welcome to use this tutorial, though it's designed to help graduate students understand the more nuanced aspects of engaging with information as creators and consumers.
